5/29/2023 0 Comments Front mission 2 gamesacesI highly recommend this game to anyone with a PS2 that likes strategy games. Overall I would give this game an 8/10 simply because when you do get stuck its hard to get unstuck, but the rest of the game makes up for that. But again for the most part you have enough to upgrade when necessary, just save up money until you unlock better parts and you should be fine for the most part. While you can take little training missions to get more cash it doesn't earn you much. Another semi-con is the lack of money in the game. But luckily these types of enemies are far and few between. They either have incredibly long range or near iron defense. Many can hit you from most places on the map. You can even get arms with attached assault rifles! There is just an endless supply of customization. You can even modify their body parts! such as legs for mobility, torsos for defense and better weight so carry better weapons. There are a lot of customization options for you wanzers, or better known as mechs, such as rifles, smg's, shotguns, rockets, backpacks for items, and more. It also has the same "Grid Movement" as seen in both of those games. It plays on the classic Turn-based strategy system, as seen in games such as Civilization and Final Fantasy Tactics. The graphics are far from Xbox 360 and PS3, but even for the PS2 they look great for the most part. This is a very good strategy game that will entertain you for quite awhile. This will actually be my third time buying this game, the other times i got rid of it because my playstation 2 broke. Each Wanzer can be customized to provide a specific service or ability during battle, such as air strikes, air drops, repairs, turbo effects, and radar. While on route, the team witnesses a plane crash deep in the Venezuelan jungles, and begins to unravel a conspiracy that will eventually bring Elsa and Darril together.New in Front Mission 4 is a "link system" that allows players to pre-set offensive and defensive battle commands for other Wanzers. Meanwhile, Darril and his team are sent to thwart a political uprising fueled by the Venezuelan governor's recent declaration of independence from the U.C.S. Elsa has recently joined the Durandal team of Wanzers (mechanical battle units), and is sent to Germany to investigate a recent attack on an E.C. The game is set in 2096, six years after the Second Huffman Conflict of the original Front Mission. I know there's been some mixed reception on the remake, but I'm just pleased to see Front. Front Mission 4 has players following two parallel storylines, as they transition between the main characters Elsa and Darril. I'm glad to see this get a release date so early, as I remember the first remake just being announced for 'November' before it got a firm release date just a little before November started (if memory serves).
